Mobility is an important focus is every program we write, but sometimes it just isn’t enough.
This post features a high school swimmer who is a direct representation of this concept in action. She has excellent control of her movement in safe, easy situations, but she can’t maintain it if you make her move fast, under heavy loads, and while fatigued.
She also has a history of back pain.
So what do you do with her?
Well, you intensify the demands on her musculoskeletal and energy systems.

Here’s an example of one exercise she’s doing before and after one of the “reset” exercises we’ve given her to help keep her a little more “balanced”.
